Super-Heroes Unmasked: Women Who Make A Difference March 2014 – an annual celebration of Women’s History Month

AAUW Dickinson Branch in cooperation with  AAUW University Partner, Dickinson State University and the ND Council on the Arts, DSU Alumni Foundation, Quality Quick Paint, Heart River Writers’ Circle will present four nights of Women’s History that will be held at 7:00 p.m. in Beck Auditorium on the Dickinson State university campus.  They are as follows:

Tuesday, March 11 – The Rockeman! “A Little Bit of Naughty Guide to Illustration and Publishing” – presenter: Jessica Rockeman, author of How to Draw Horses and How to Draw Dinosaurs

Thursday, March 13 – The Fantastic Four: Making Heroes, Mentors and Role Models Visible – panel discussion by Dr. Rena Nordeng, Cami Havelka, Emily Gunderson, and Angela Caulk

Tuesday, March 25 – Wonder Women! The Untold Story of American Super-heroines – a film by director Kristy Guevara-Flanagan

Thursday, March 27 – Captains Marvelous: Women Leaders in Adverse Times – panel discussion by DSU Theodore Roosevelt Scholars
